Nantilus
This floating barge, designed by naval architect naval Olivier Flahault, is 57 m long, 16 m wide and 8 m high. It will be docked upstream of the shipyards pontoon.
It will feature:
- a bar with a terrace on the upper deck. The public will have free access to the terrace.
- a restaurant on the middle deck (approximately 150 covers)
- facilities for seminars, receptions and events on the lower deck (modular spaces with a capacity of 400 to 600).
The barge will be accessed via gangways from the Shipyards Park.
The glass walls will offer a splendid view of the city and the river. The project will liven up the site and the riverside area, similar to what can be found in other major European cities and what existed in Nantes in the early 1900s.
