Quai West - Contemporaine

Housing and office building project

The last development on Quai François Mitterand, Quai West completes the redevelopment of this riverside area, initiated in 2000 with the creation of the Courthouse. The building is aligned with the Rhuys building and the School of Architecture, freeing up a public space facing the Loire, on the corner of the Quai and rue Barbe Torte.

The design of Jean-Claude Pondevie of AJT Architecture features a ground floor with commercial space opening onto the Quai on the north and onto Place François II on the south. Developer Lamotte Construction will also open its offices on the upper part.

The development will offer more than 7,000 sq. m of apartments, including 25% social housing, on three separate blocks.

This arrangement will provide views of the Loire from many of the apartments.
